Last year’s return of Music On The Mountain was a resounding success, leading to this year’s eight shows. The performances have moved to Wednesday nights at the top of Bay Mountain, The Homestead’s ski hill, with the same stunning backdrop: Evening sunset over Lake Michigan’s sparkling waters. The shows include the return of last season’s three most popular artists, along with a special encore show from Blue Water Ramblers, who played during the first season of MOTM back in 2015.
The schedule:
June 17 Alan Hewitt, progressive rock from former Moody Blues keyboardist
July 1 Kevin DiSimone/Hilary James, music director for Barry Manilow/Broadway star
July 8 Blue Water Ramblers, Americana & roots
July 22 Cat Daddy, jazz organ trio
Aug. 5 Jabo Bihlman, blues rock*
Aug. 12 Seth Bernard, Midwestern troubadour and environmental activist
Aug. 19 Joe Taylor, contemporary jazz guitar*

*Returning from last year
