he beauty and tranquility of the Sleeping Bear Dunes area attracts and inspires painters, potters, sculptors, crafts people, photographers, writers and other artists. Some make the area their home while some visit seasonally. This year will be the 15th year in which the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore has an artist in residence during two parts of the fall season.
