Traverse City Film Festival
his new, rapidly growing and very exciting festival is committed to showing
"Just Great Movies" while helping to save one of America's few indigenous art forms -
the cinema. Founded by Academy Award winning filmmaker Michael Moore, photographer
John Robert Williams and New York Times bestselling Author Doug Stanton, the festival is typically held between the last week of July and the first week of August and will show films with admission charges
in three movie houses and classic films on one giant outdoor screen free of charge.
Last year, the festival offered 96 screenings of 67 feature films.
