A DIY Wine Tasting Adventure
25 August 2014
Use The Homestead as your home base for a leisurely roadtrip through Leelanau’s wine country that’s all your own. Twenty-five, award-winning wineries are located within easy driving distance of The Resort, and the Leelanau Loop Adventure is your self-guided ticket to enjoying all the region’s internationally acclaimed varietals — Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc.
Check out this special offer and see how you can receive a free wine-tasting pass, Leelanau Loop Adventure map and three nights worth of lodging at The Homestead all for one incredible price.
The oldest wine trail in Michigan has only gotten larger as the reputation for Leelanau Peninsula wines has grown to international proportion. Today, the peninsula is home to 25 wineries and the trail has expanded to include three mini-trails that make self-guided tours a breeze: Sleeping Bear Bay Loop, Northern Loop and Grand Traverse Bay Loop.
In cooperation with the Leelanau Vintners Association, The Homestead is offering a special for wine-loving guests this fall. Here’s what you need to do:
Step 1: Reserve two nights at The Homestead (and get the third night free), and you will be given a Leelanau Loop Adventure pass at check-in.
Step 2: Enjoy a leisurely, self-guided tour (one loop each day), and experience, firsthand, the authentic taste of the peninsula in local wines that continue to garner national and international attention every year.
Step 3: Email a copy of the completed Leelanau Loop Adventure pass to firstname.lastname@example.org and receive a special gift bag that includes a Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail wine bag, wine glass and corkscrew.
